Originally from Guthrie, Texas, a very small Panhandle Town, I grew up in a farming and ranching family. My parents continue to farm a little and predominately run a cattle ranch. I came to Austin in the late 80’s where I received my BS from Southwest Texas State University. Upon graduation, I started working for the Attorney General in the Child Suport Division.
